Photographer For Challenge...

Listening to my variety of music and going through slides and negatives of yesteryear. I am looking for challenging projects. I want to do something different. I am on the verge of it now. But I want to keep up the variety.

Things are confusing right now. I hate doing taxes. ICK ICK ICK.

Thank You Dear Friend

I want to thank a dear friend for helping me realize an important thing. Sometimes the opportunities we are denied in life are truly blessings. With that said, I am refocusing my energy to new and positive projects. Continuing will be the ongoing expansion of my portfolio. I am also working on several projects on life.

I have started last week putting them together. They should be be powerful. Some of the projects are compilations of work by myself and other artists.

I am back....

It's been almost two weeks since my last post. So here it is. A lot of challenges have come to me lately as they do with all of us. But with each challenge there is reward. These rewards have come with recognition and appreciation.

It's good to reunite with old friends. I have recently discovered that often the good things about people don't change just their surroundings. Most of us seem to grow into new jobs, responsibilities and the like.

I am happy this morning as I was surrounded by friends and catching up on the journey down life's highway.

New Concepts

It looks like things keep picking up. I hope things aren't picking up too fast for me. The best way is the steady way. Things are good but, getting too busy could lead to disaster. It could help me get over this senseless time to babble and just SHOOT photos.

Shooting is what I love to do. In the next few projects I am going to try and use some different concepts. They aren't necessarily new but will add some variety. Look for it sooner than later. Just waiting to schedule the next model shoot to try these concepts.

Life's Full Circle Teachers

Sometimes the journey down life's highway puts you back with people from your past. Other times you are able to help others go back in time to help them realize how they came to be. A dear friend of mine is an aspiring educator. She never was able to know her grandmother who was a life long educator. As a former student of her grandmother, she will often ask me about what type of teacher she was. It warms my heart to do that. She told me last night that she has wanted to be a teacher all of her life. I think that is awesome.

I wish her the best in her career. She should do well. She has a great driver for what she does. It's nothing short of a truly love of what she does. We should thank people like her to continue a tradition of teaching.

Tyler Perry Movies

I love all of Tyler Perry movies.  He has encompassed the life of many Americans.  His work is something that connects me to a different time and place but with a message of here and today.  I often think of deaf ears to my challenges.  It's good to know there are still some constructive talents and able to entertain.
